We’re on the cusp of new as we enter into another year. Now is as good a time to make a change as any. If you feel you are in need of a change take action, take control of your life and just do it.
I find new years a good time to implement changes as it mentally draws a line through the old year and focuses you to think about the future. Being prepared mentally to make a change is the most important aspect in successfully adopting it – if your minds not in it, then you’re not.
I don’t set resolutions, but i do have things in my mind that i would like to work on and the end of a year is a good time to reflect on these and devise a plan of action.
Having a demanding career, i’ve always found it hard to sculpt a robust exercise regime that i can easily stick to. So, i’m walking into 2017 with my health in mind. My first action is to go pescatarian, just to see how this boosts my energy levels and improves my health generally.
I’m not going to be strict with myself or beat myself up if i slip up – it’s a lifestyle change and not a strict routine. In my mind, this non-pressured approach is the key to making it a success.
So, what do you want to achieve in 2017?
